    DCAMM Update (Webinar)
    featuring Commissioner Carol Gladstone
    What's new at DCAMM? Commissioner Gladstone will address the forecast for public building construction in the Commonwealth for 2021. She joins us to share DCAMM's focus and performance as well as discussing issues and interests relevant to the design and construction community.

    The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) is responsible for capital planning, public building construction, facilities management, and real estate services for the Commonwealth. 

    Photo of Carol GladstoneCarol Gladstone was appointed by Governor Baker to serve as Commissioner of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in 2015. She has more than 35 years of experience in both public and private real estate and project management.

    Prior to her appointment, Carol was a Principal in project management and real estate at Stantec Consulting, an international architecture and engineering firm, following the acquisition of her firm GLC Development Resources. GLC was co-founded in 2000, and provided real estate development and advisory services to private, public and non-profit clients.

    Gladstone’s public sector experience includes three years as the Assistant Receiver for Community and Economic Development for the city of Chelsea during the state receivership. She also spent time in state government as the director of Real Estate for DCPO (the previous name for DCAMM).

    Carol began her career as a project manager at the Beacon Companies, where she was responsible for the award winning Rowes Wharf mixed-use waterfront project and the Hotel Meridien (now Langham Hotel).

    Gladstone previously served as vice chairwoman of the Massachusetts State College Building Authority and as a Trustee of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy.  She is currently board president of the Brookline Arts Center.
