    Event Description:

Peter Sougarides, Principal of Samuels & Associates Peter Sougarides, Principal of Samuels & Associates will talk about the transformation of the Fenway neighborhood.

As a native Bostonian, Peter Sougarides has made a legacy of his lifelong passion for bringing positive growth to the neighborhoods of Boston.

As a principal of Samuels & Associates, Peter leads the Development, Construction & Leasing groups within the company. Peter has used his considerable 25 years of experience to oversee the development of major urban mixed-use projects including all the projects Samuels has developed in the vibrant Fenway neighborhood. Over the years, Peter has successfully overseen the development of major mixed-use projects, including Fenway Triangle Trilogy, 1330 Boylston, the Van Ness, and a state-of-the-art medical facility for Fenway Health, a non-profit health center. Peter currently leads the development teams for 401 Park and 201 Brookline Avenue, two major transformational projects in the Fenway, along with other significant mixed-use projects in the Back Bay, South Boston, Dorchester and Allston neighborhoods.

Peter’s passion for development first inspired a Civil Engineering degree from Northeastern University, before making the transition to the real estate industry.

Peter is on the board of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, the Advisory Board of Urban Land Institute Boston, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and remains active with many Boston area non-profit organizations.
